Lord Varys Embroidery

Lord Varys, also known as the Spider, from the series "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R.R. Martin.

This one was requested by my sister [link] . She had originally asked me to do Theon Greyjoy, changed her mind to Brienne of Tarth, before finally settling on Varys here. I drew the design myself referencing a photo of Conleth Hill as Varys, along with some resources on heraldry for the spider. It's stitched on a 14"x11" artist canvas like the kind you find at a craft store with embroidery floss.

Varys was much easier to complete than the last two, probably due to his lack of hair. To make up for that though I went ahead and did some shading on the inner layer of his robe, which I think turned out rather nice.
